On our public website we ask before using any analytics or advertising cookies. Nothing of that kind loads until you choose, and you can choose “Reject all”. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, or here:
The Forensik app itself uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
2. Always on: needed for the site to work
forensik_consent: remembers your cookie choice, for 180 days.- Sign-in: the app keeps your session in your browser’s local storage until you sign out or it expires.
forensik_shopify_oauth: protects the Shopify connection step, for a few minutes.fk_landingandfk_referrer: the page you arrived on and where from, kept in this browser tab only and sent with a waitlist signup.forensik_admin_session,forensik_admin_pendingandforensik_site_preview: Forensik staff sign-in and site preview only.
3. Analytics (only if you say yes)
- Google Analytics: counts visits and pages read.
4. Advertising (only if you say yes)
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measures our ads.
- LinkedIn: measures our ads.
- Google Ads: measures our ads.
If you accept advertising and join the waitlist, we tell Meta about the signup from our server as well, so it is counted once. If you say no, we do not.
These providers set their own cookies and are based overseas, mainly in the United States. Their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.
