How we use AI
AI drafts our articles and glossary pages. A person fact-checks every page before it goes live, and every figure has a source you can open.

What AI does
AI tools write the first draft of an article or glossary page, including its title, description, FAQs and image descriptions. They also help with a first pass over the sources. When a draft cannot source a fact, it marks the gap, and the page cannot be published until someone fills it or cuts it.
What a person does
A person reads every page against its sources before it goes live. That covers every number, title, description, FAQ, image description and piece of structured data. A person also decides whether the page is worth publishing at all. Our site build refuses a page with no recorded review.
Sources on every figure
Every figure comes from a source listed at the end of the page, with the date we accessed it. If we cannot find a source, the figure comes out. Worked examples use made-up numbers and are labelled as examples.
Where a specialist is needed
Pages on GST and tax, contract terms or dangerous goods stay unpublished until a qualified specialist has reviewed them.
What AI never does here
AI does not decide what is published. We do not use it to make up statistics, customers, quotes, studies or the people who review our pages.
What this page covers
This page is about our published content. How the product handles your freight data is covered by our security and data use pages.
