Plan limit reached

What the plan messages mean when a feature is not on your plan, you have used all your carriers, stores or users, or an item is read-only.

Forensik never deletes anything because of your plan. These messages tell you what the plan allows and which plan you need. Only a Master Admin can upgrade, on Billing.

Feature not on your plan

Live checkout pricing is on the Growth plan and above. Upgrade to use it.

Cause. The feature you tried to use is not included in your plan. On Starter, that includes SKU and postcode markup rules, live checkout pricing, PDF rate cards and rate approvals. If your trial has ended or your plan is cancelled, the message starts with "Your trial has ended, so Starter limits apply" or "Your plan is cancelled, so Starter limits apply". For markup rules the message ends "Upgrade to set them; existing rules keep working."

Fix. Upgrade to the plan named in the message on Billing. If you would rather stay on your plan, use the features it includes. See Plans and limits.

When to contact support. If you are on the plan the message names and still see it.

Over your plan's limit

Your Starter plan includes 2 carriers, and you have 2. Upgrade to Growth to add more.

Cause. You have used all the carriers, stores or users your plan includes. Users counts active members and open invitations together.

Fix. Upgrade to the plan named in the message. Or make room: for users, revoke invitations nobody needs or deactivate members who have left, on Users. For stores, disconnect a store you no longer use. Reconnecting a store you already have never needs a new place.

When to contact support. If the count in Settings, under Plan and usage, looks wrong.

Item is read-only

Your Starter plan includes 2 carriers. This one is above the limit, so it is read-only: nothing was deleted. Upgrade to Growth to change it.

Cause. Your organisation moved to a plan with a lower limit, for example when the trial ended or after a downgrade. Items above the new limit are kept but cannot be changed. The oldest items stay editable. For users, Master Admins come first, so you always keep someone who can upgrade. A member above the limit sees a message that their access is read-only for now.

Fix. Upgrade to the plan named in the message and the item becomes editable again straight away. Or remove an older item you no longer need, such as deactivating a member who has left, so this one falls within the limit.

When to contact support. If an item you need is read-only and you cannot upgrade yet. Tell us which one.
