Your 14-day free trial
Every new organisation gets 14 days on Growth features with no card. Here is what you get and what happens when the trial ends.
When you create an organisation, it starts a free trial straight away. You do not need to enter a card.
What the trial includes
The trial runs for 14 days and gives you the Growth plan's features and limits:
- 5 carriers, 3 stores and 10 users
- All four markup rule types: global, category, SKU and postcode
- Live checkout pricing
- PDF rate cards (Rate Card Agent) and rate approvals
- Invoice audit and Recoveries, as on every plan
Your audited consignments are counted against Growth's 5,000 a month so you can see what your usage looks like, but no overage is charged during the trial. See Audited consignments and overage.
Where to see how long is left
Billing shows a line such as "Free 14-day trial on Growth features, 9 days left. No card needed." The Plan and usage card in Settings shows the date the trial ends.
Choosing a plan during the trial
A Master Admin can choose a plan on Billing at any time during the trial. You keep the trial days you have left: Stripe starts charging when the trial would have ended. If less than 48 hours of the trial are left, billing starts when you check out.
If you choose Scale during the trial, you get Scale's features straight away. If you choose Starter, you keep Growth features until the trial ends.
When the trial ends
If you have not chosen a plan when the 14 days are up:
- Starter limits and features apply until you choose a plan. Billing says "Your trial has ended. Starter limits apply until you choose a plan; nothing was deleted."
- Nothing is deleted. Your carriers, stores, users, rules, orders, invoices and audit results all stay.
- Items above the Starter limits become read-only. Starter includes 2 carriers, 1 store and 3 users. The oldest carriers and stores stay editable; for users, Master Admins come first.
- Features that are not on Starter, such as SKU and postcode markup rules, live checkout pricing and PDF rate cards, are refused with a message that names the plan you need. Existing SKU and postcode rules keep working; you cannot set new ones.
- Invoice audit carries on. Nothing stops you importing invoices.
To get everything back, choose Growth or Scale on Billing. Read-only items become editable again as soon as the new plan applies.
